Veterans

I have always strongly supported those who have served, and I want to ensure they receive the benefits they deserve. It was an honor for me to serve on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, which I like to call the Heroes Committee, and where I served as the Ranking Member on the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee and served on the Economic Opportunity Subcommittee during my first two years in office.
Our gratitude and support for our U.S. military service members does not end once they remove their uniform. My top priority is ensuring that the more than 41,000 veterans in the Big First District receive the benefits and care they deserve. I am committed to fighting for policies that give our Kansas veterans the highest quality of resources and support.
I look forward to continuing my work to serve and honor our nation’s heroes.
