All Kansans should have access to affordable, quality, and accessible health care. I believe that health care should not be a one-size-fits-all policy, and I am committed to ensuring flexibility in the health care system so that Kansans can receive the care that they deserve.
The Big First is unique; we have more critical access hospitals than any other Congressional district in the country. Critical access hospitals and 340-B programs are essential safety nets that provide health care options for rural communities while keeping costs down. I recognize that the high cost of prescription drugs is putting a strain on many Kansans' wallets, which is why I favor supporting programs such as 340-B. Additionally, I will continue to advocate for increased use of telehealth services, so that our rural communities have access to high-quality health care.

Over the past two decades, there has been a growing health care crisis in rural America, and Washington, D.C. has been slow in adequately addressing the problem. Fortunately, that is now changing thanks to the leadership of President Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representatives Tracey Mann (KS-01), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03), Lauren Underwood (IL-14), and Jim Baird (IN-04) introduced the Expanding Childcare in Rural America (ECRA) Act, which would lower the cost of childcare in agricultural and rural communities, while also improving its availability and quality.
U.S. Congressman Tracey Mann, R-Kansas, introduced three bills reforming Rural Health Clinics, a type of primary care facility that many communities in Kansas rely on.
Mann is leading a bipartisan group asking for the change with Rep. Jill Tokuda, D-Hawaii, on all three bills, and so far, 13 other lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have signed on as co-sponsors.
