The bill, which passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 226-188, prohibits any federal moratorium on the use of hydraulic fracturing. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) voted to advance H.R. 27, the Halt All Legal Trafficking of (HALT) Fentanyl Act, which permanently classifies fentanyl and related substances as a Schedule I drug. According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, in 2023, 70% of overdose deaths in the U.S. involved a synthetic opioid like fentanyl.

Mann cosponsors, requires that health care practitioners exercise the same degree of care to preserve the life and health of a child who is born alive after surviving an attempted abortion.
