Rep. Mann Votes NO on Fourth Continuing Resolution

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) voted no on H.R. 7463, the Extension of Continuing Appropriations and Other Matters Act of 2024, which would extend funding levels from the $1.7 trillion spending bill passed during a Democrat-controlled Congress for the fourth time in less than a year.
"We are living the same story over and over again," said Rep. Mann. "Today's vote on a fourth short-term continuing resolution is no way to fund a government and further kicks the can down the road. Just last week, I spent time in 12 Kansas counties on my annual 60-county Mann Listening Tour, and Kansans were clear that they are tired of the federal government's reckless spending. For our economy to thrive again, Congress must stop wasting taxpayer dollars, return to regular order, and pass 12 individual appropriation bills that prioritize the real needs in America."
H.R. 7463, the Extension of Continuing Appropriations and Other Matters Act of 2024, which passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 320-99 will extend government funding for certain agencies until March 8 and March 22, 2024.

On November 14, 2023, Rep. Mann voted noon H.R. 6363, the Furthering Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act.
On September 30, 2023, Rep. Mannvoted noon H.R. 5860, the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2024, and Other Extensions Act.
