Rep. Mann Supports Impeachment Inquiry into President Biden

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) released the following statement in response to the impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
“Congress has uncovered serious and credible allegations of corruption surrounding President Biden, his administration, and his immediate family members,” said Rep. Mann. “These allegations include President Biden's direct involvement with shady foreign business deals, which bank records and the Treasury Department can corroborate. Despite these serious allegations, the Biden Justice Department continues to offer special treatment to President Biden and his family. These allegations suggest abuse of power, obstruction, and corruption, and they warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives. This investigation will bring more facts to light, and the American people deserve to know whether President Biden has been compromised by millions of dollars in foreign bribes. Congress has the sworn duty to go where the evidence leads, gather all the facts, and hold President Biden accountable for his conduct."
On September 12th, 2023, Speaker Kevin McCarthy officially opened the impeachment inquiry, which is the first step towards an impeachment vote.
The inquiry will be led by Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer in coordination with Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith.
As part of his Commitment to the Big First, Rep. Mann is dedicated to creating a government that's accountable and reining in the White House's abuse of power.
