Rep. Mann Holds President Biden Accountable

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) voted yes on H.Res. 918, which directs the House Judiciary, Ways and Means, and Oversight and Accountability committees to determine whether sufficient grounds exist for the impeachment of President Joe Biden.
“This isn’t just smoke anymore – it's fire,” said Rep. Mann. “While the House of Representatives must always proceed in a careful and measured fashion with regards to an impeachment inquiry, the reality is, the allegations against President Biden are credible and staggering. For the past year, House Republicans have followed the facts and the money to build a record of evidence revealing that President Biden knew about, was involved in, and benefited from his family’s and his associates’ shady foreign business deals. Today’s vote is the next step towards holding President Biden accountable.”
H.Res. 918, which passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 221-212, outlines specific procedures regarding the impeachment inquiry, removes legal ambiguity, and ensures the American people will receive the answers they deserve.
Earlier this year, House Republicans revealed evidence that President Biden lied about his knowledge of and involvement in his family’s business activities, including that Hunter Biden’s business received payments from the Chinese Communist Party and made direct payments to Joe involved in influence peddling schemes.
This morning, Hunter Biden broke the law once again by defying a Congressional subpoena to testify before the House Oversight and Judiciary committees.
“The House of Representatives must honor our sworn duty to determine whether President Biden is fit for office,” said Rep. Mann.
