Rep. Mann Completes Annual 60-County Mann Listening Tour

August 15, 2024

MANHATTAN, KS – Today, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) completed his annual 60-county Mann Listening Tour. Since being elected to Congress, Rep. Mann has hosted at least one town hall in every county of the Big First each year, for a total of 246 town halls over the past four years.

“It is a privilege to fight for Kansans in the Big First in Congress,” said Rep. Mann. “There are few things I enjoy more than meeting directly with Kansans and hearing the issues that are most important to them. Kansas is the pilot light of America, and it is my job to get to the middle of the issues that matter, have hard conversations, and get to work to ensure that light never goes out.

"Throughout this year's Mann Listening Tour, I heard Kansans sounding the alarm over America's wide-open southern border, out-of-control spending, burdensome government red-tape, rampant inflation, skyrocketing $35 trillion national debt, encroachment on our basic freedoms, and the Biden-Harris Administration's weaponization of the federal government. While the White House sits idly by, Republicans have been working to solve these problems by passing legislation that reins in our government spending, secures our border, protects our freedoms, and ensures the government works for the people rather than against them. I do not serve in Congress to be a caretaker in the slow demise of America – I serve to fight and work to make it stronger. That is what I am doing while believing our brightest days are yet to come.”

Rep. Mann completed the Mann Listening Tour this week with stops in Jackson and Jefferson counties. Over the course of the tour, Rep. Mann traveled a total of 3,818 miles across the Big First District.
