WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Tracey Mann (KS-01) voted to advance H.R. 5371, the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026, and reopen the federal government. H.R. 5371 passed in the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 222-209. Rep. Mann released a statement after the vote.

Recent USDA data revealed Kansas’ SNAP error rate was almost ten percent, meaning millions of Kansas taxpayer dollars were incorrectly sent to people ineligible for the program.
